publisher:  C.C. Thomas/Springfield, Illinois
publication: 1999

Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests include the psychoanalysis of interpersonal difficulties and separation-individuation problems in adult men and women, and the psychotherapy of depressive and anxiety disorders. As an outgrowth of my interest in interpersonal relations, in recent years my psychological and clinical research has focused specifically on adulthood love-life psychology. The rising divorce rate and difficulty we are all having understanding and deepening our capacity for intimacy and love indicates to me that this is an area of great need at this time.

Love-Life Interests & Expertise:
After 14 years of psychological research in the area of adulthood love-life psychology, I developed the Love-Life Review and the Practices of Independent Loving as psycho-educational interventions to help people consciously identify their love-life barriers and learn something more useful for their love-lives. The Love-Life Workshop is the forum I developed to offer single, divorced, coupled and married men and women a chance to rediscover their love-life psychology in the convenience and anonymity of an online workshop.

Personal Relationship Status:  I am married 11 years with a seven year old son.
